Tournament Rules

  1. All fish categories will be awarded by weight. Any ties in weight in a category will be broken by the first fish entered.
  2. All decisions of the Weigh Master are final.
  3. Prizes will be awarded for the fist three places in each category; for the best all-around fisherman; for the best all-around fisherette; and for the best all-around in the Children's Division.
  4. Only 1 Prize will be awarded per person in a category.
  5. The best all-around will be determined by a point system: 3 points for First Place; 2 points for Second Place; and 1 point for Third Place. If there is a tie, the Committee will select the one with the most First Places. If a tie still exists, then the Committee will use total weight to break the tie.

CCFT Sponsor Divsion

The Sponsor Division will not be for the general public as the Open Division is. The Sponsor Division will be for any sponsor with a $200 or more sponsorship. (This would be a GOLD, PLATINUM, MASTER, or CORPORATE sponsorship.) The sponsor will receive tickets with the word "SPONSOR" designated on it. This will entitle the sponsor's guest to enter fish in the Sponsor Division and/or the Open Division.

The general rules for the Open Division apply to the Sponsor Division. The rules, which apply to the Sponsor Division only, are:

  1. You must have a ticket with the word "SPONSOR" printed on it.
  2. You can weigh a fish in either the Sponsor or Open Division. Once you weigh a fish your ticket will be stamped for that division and species. Any additional fish of that species you want to weigh will have to be in the same division.
    EXAMPLE (You weigh a Bull Red in the Sponsor Division and a Rat Red in the Open Division. If you catch another Bull Red you want to weigh in, you would have to weigh it in the Sponsor Division, also. If you have another Rat Red to weigh, you would have to weigh it in the Open Division.)

To avoid confusion for the sponsor's guest, rules will be posted at the marina and the Weigh Master can explain the rules to you.
